Dubai Duty Free will announce over 1,000 new job opportunities this year.

Dubai Duty-Free (DDF), led by CEO Salah Tahlek, is increasing its hiring efforts in order to satisfy the growing demand at Dubai International Airport (DXB).

It intends to hire 1,040 people this year, increasing the total workforce to 5,698 by the end of the year, a 22.35% increase over last year.

This is in response to expectations that Dubai Airport will handle more than 83 million passengers this year. Increased tourism, Dubai’s status as a popular destination, growing business operations, and the growth of flight networks by airlines such as Emirates and Flydubai can all be contributed to the increase in travel.

DDF aspires to attract competent and qualified individuals in order to meet expanding demand. The company monitors retail market trends and plans ahead of time for high travel seasons.
