The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has officially released the results for the 9th and 10th grades, showing an impressive overall matriculation pass rate of 88.20%.
Top achievers in the Science Group
Among the top performers in the Science Group for matriculation Part 2, Zabadia Naseem achieved the highest score with 1087 marks. Hijab Fatima followed closely in second place with 1085 marks. Mushtaq Shahbaz and Fatima Wajid both secured the third position, each scoring 1084 marks.

On July 9, the Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education released the matriculation exam results, a notable event impacting more than 250,000 students.
Controller of Examinations Zahid Mian provided an overview, stating that out of the total number of candidates, 174,000 students passed, resulting in an overall pass rate of 69.75%.

Science Group
- 73.91% of students achieved a passing grade.
- Female students showed a notably high success rate, with 80% passing the exams.
- Male students achieved a pass rate of 67%.
Arts Group
- The pass rate was 55%.
- Female students continued to outperform male students, achieving a pass rate of 63% compared to 38% for boys.
Regarding issues of cheating and malpractice, the controller reported identifying 267 cases of cheating, leading to the registration of over 60 first information reports (FIRs).
