Emirates Confirms Cabin Crew Recruitment in Islamabad and Karachi, Rejects False Fact-Check

The fact-check had labeled the recruitment drive as “Fake,” but our independent verification has confirmed the authenticity of the hiring process. Emirates, one of the world’s leading airlines, aims to expand its workforce through this recruitment drive. The parent company of the Dubai-based airline, Emirates Group, will oversee the hiring process. The airline has scheduled “invite-only” interviews for prospective cabin crew candidates. The interviews will take place on 2nd August in Karachi and 30th August in Islamabad. Interested individuals are required to apply through the Emirates Group’s website to be considered for shortlisting. After applying, candidates will receive an email containing details regarding the interview location and time.

Emirates is also organizing open days in various cities worldwide, where candidates can participate without submitting an application in advance. The Emirates Group is actively seeking skilled and talented individuals to fill vacancies in several cities globally. It is important to note that interested candidates from Kazakhstan are required to apply online before appearing for an interview in Astana. For Russia, Emirates Group has partnered with Global Vision to recruit for the available positions.

In the previous fiscal year 2022-23, Emirates Group successfully recruited 17,160 employees for various roles, expanding its total workforce to over 102,000 by the end of March 2023.

Emirates prides itself on having a diverse and inclusive cabin crew, representing more than 140 nationalities and speaking approximately 130 languages. To be eligible for the cabin crew position, candidates must meet certain criteria, including proficiency in English (both written and spoken), a minimum height requirement of 160 cm (with the ability to reach 212 cm), compliance with UAE employment visa criteria, and preferably at least one year of experience in hospitality or customer service. A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is also required, and visible tattoos are not permitted while wearing the uniform.

The salary and benefits package for cabin crew members includes a basic monthly salary of AED 4,430, flying pay of AED 63.75 per hour, an average of 80-100 flying hours per month, and an average total salary of AED 10,170. Additionally, accommodation and transport to and from the airport are provided.
