LAHORE: Former Punjab Assembly deputy speaker Sardar Dost Muhammad Mazari joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Monday.
Mazari and former provincial minister Malik Muhammad Asif Bhan were welcomed into the party by PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz.

The inclusion of the former deputy speaker, according to the PML-N senior vice president, will strengthen the party in southern Punjab.
During the meeting, important issues were discussed, including the country’s current political situation.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif praised Mazari for standing up to the subversion of the constitution and bravely confronting the tyranny and oppression of the subversive elements.
