Furniture Store Fire Ignites Chaos in Karachi Tower

A brutal fire broke out in the vicinity of Ayesha Manzil, Karachi, causing alarm and prompting immediate intervention efforts to control the situation.

At multiple furniture shops located under an apartment building, a fire erupted, swiftly spreading to engulf adjacent shops in the area. Reports indicate that the blaze initially began in a mattress store and swiftly expanded, engulfing neighboring shops.

Efforts to contain the fire have involved the deployment of at least seven fire engines, with rescue teams working diligently to evacuate residents from the affected building. However, it’s been reported that the fire has reached the upper floors of the building, where residential flats are situated.

During this incident, one individual suffered severe injuries and has been promptly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.

Amidst the ongoing operation to control the fire, Mayor of Karachi and PPP leader Murtaza Wahab Siddique assured the public that the fire brigade team is actively engaged at the site. Additionally, specialized equipment like a Snorkel is on standby to facilitate rooftop evacuations if necessary.
