Gold prices in Pakistan saw a rise for the fourth consecutive session on Saturday.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs2,000, reaching Rs246,400.
The price of 10-gram 24-karat gold also went up, rising by Rs1,740 to Rs211,247. This follows Thursday’s increase, when the per tola price climbed by Rs944.

On Saturday, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold remained at Rs193,644.
The international gold market also saw gains on Friday. According to APGJSA, the global rate reached $2,388 per ounce, a $24 increase during the trading day.
Silver prices in the local market also experienced a significant increase of Rs50, bringing the price of 24 karats of silver to Rs2,900 per tola.
Market analysts attribute the rise in gold prices to various factors, including fluctuations in the international market, currency exchange rates, and economic conditions. The ongoing increase in gold prices is likely to impact investment decisions and consumer behavior in the coming days.
