Several media outlets reported on Friday that Sunita Ahuja has filed for divorce from actor Govinda in Bandra Family Court. Reports claimed the petition was based on allegations of adultery, cruelty, and desertion.
However, Sunita Ahuja dismissed these claims. Speaking to the media, she called the reports “Bakwas,” denying the divorce news.
According to a report by Hauterrfly, Govinda’s wife allegedly filed for divorce under Section 13 (1) (i), (ia), (ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.
The same report mentioned that the couple has been attempting reconciliation since June. While Sunita Ahuja has reportedly been present in court, Govinda has not attended.
Amid the rumours, Sunita Ahuja addressed the matter in her latest vlog, recorded during her visit to Mahalaxmi Mandir. She broke down in tears while speaking about her marriage to Govinda.
She said she had prayed to the Goddess for her marriage and was blessed with children. She acknowledged that every marriage faces ups and downs but expressed strong faith in Maa Kaali.
“Whoever tries to break my home, Maa Kaali will take care of them,” Sunita Ahuja said emotionally.
The divorce rumours have created a buzz in the entertainment industry, given Govinda’s popularity and long-standing marriage. Despite speculation, Sunita Ahuja’s clear denial suggests that the couple has not legally separated.
At present, neither Govinda nor his representatives have released an official statement regarding the ongoing reports. The situation continues to attract public attention, as fans await clarity from the actor himself.
