Iran wants Islamic states to sanction Israel (oil sanctions)

On Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian advocated for Islamic nations to implement an oil embargo and other sanctions against Israel, as well as to expel all Israeli ambassadors, if diplomatic relations with the Zionist regime exist.

The Iranian foreign ministry conveyed the foreign minister’s proposal, urging for the immediate and comprehensive isolation of Israel, including the imposition of oil sanctions, within the Islamic community.

Amirabdollahian also stressed the need for the establishment of a team comprising Islamic legal experts tasked with documenting potential war crimes committed by Israel in Gaza.

Furthermore, during an OIC meeting in Jeddah, he held discussions with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan regarding the situation in Gaza.
