Karachi residents are in for a partly cloudy day with the possibility of drizzle, as per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecast for the next 24 hours.
The Met department also revealed that the city’s maximum temperature is expected to range between 31°C and 33°C. Over the past 24 hours, Karachi recorded a minimum temperature of 26.9°C, with the current humidity level at 62%. Winds from the southwest are blowing at a speed of 20 to 30 km/h.
While most plain areas in Pakistan can anticipate hot and humid weather over the next 12 hours, there’s a twist in the forecast. Rain, accompanied by wind and thundershowers, is on the horizon at isolated spots in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Pothohar region, Islamabad, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
To provide a snapshot of the morning temperatures across the country: Islamabad and Peshawar started at 25°C, Lahore and Karachi at 28°C, Quetta at 23°C, and Gilgit, Muzaffarabad, and Murree recorded temperatures of 20°C, 20°C, and 16°C, respectively. Stay tuned for the latest weather updates.
