KP Caretaker Chief Minister Azam Khan Passes Away

The caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mohammad Azam Khan, passed away on Saturday, just a day after his admission to a hospital.

Following his illness and a heart attack, Khan was transferred to Peshawar’s Hayatabad Medical Complex, where he received care in the intensive care unit (ICU). The health center’s administration reported that Khan had initially been admitted due to complaints of diarrhea.

The funeral prayer for Khan is scheduled to take place in his hometown of Prang, Charsadda, at 3:30 pm today, and his final resting place will be in the same location.

Expressions of sympathy and condolences have been extended by Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who conveyed deep sadness over Azam Khan’s death. Mohsin Naqvi acknowledged Khan’s noteworthy contributions to the country and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, emphasizing that his services will be remembered with gratitude.
