Amid Pakistan’s hyperinflation situation, car sales, production, and revenue are experiencing a significant decline, leading automakers to take urgent measures to regain public interest and improve their fortunes.
In an attempt to win back customers, the Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has introduced a ‘price lock’ offer for all its car models, except for the Cultus VXR, until the end of August. The price lock will only take effect upon vehicle booking.

Additionally, the company is providing an exchange bonus of Rs. 100,000 on the new WagonR and Rs. 160,000 on the new Swift to stimulate sales.
However, Suzuki’s price lock announcement may also indicate a possible price increase. Car prices in Pakistan are linked to the fluctuating value of the US Dollar, which currently stands at Rs. 287. Given the volatility of the local currency, there is a possibility of further price hikes in the future.
