Ali Hyderabadi has been granted interim bail by a local court in a case involving allegations of assault filed by his former wife. The court approved his pre-arrest bail and directed police not to arrest him until July 14.
An additional sessions judge heard the bail application and issued the order. The court also instructed Ali Hyderabadi to fully cooperate with the investigation during the period of interim bail.
According to the court’s directions, the social media personality must appear before the investigating officer whenever required. The judge also ordered all parties to attend the next hearing in the case.
The case was registered after a complaint was filed by his former wife, Zainab Ali. She accused him of physical assault and abuse.
Fearing arrest following the registration of the case, Ali Hyderabadi approached the sessions court seeking pre-arrest relief. The court accepted his request and granted interim bail until the next hearing.
The case attracted significant public attention after a livestream circulated widely on social media. The video allegedly showed Ali Hyderabadi divorcing his wife while stating that he never wanted to see her again.
Following the livestream, Zainab Ali released a separate video addressing the public. In the video, she appeared emotional and had bandages visible on one of her hands.
She alleged that she had suffered physical violence and mental abuse during the past three years. She also appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for assistance.
Ali Hyderabadi later responded to the allegations through a video statement. Holding a copy of the Holy Quran, he rejected all accusations made against him.
He described the allegations as false and baseless. He maintained that the claims did not reflect the truth and denied committing any abuse.
In a later response, Zainab Ali rejected his explanation. She stated that the couple had already been divorced and repeated her earlier allegations.
She also claimed that Ali Hyderabadi pursued relationships with women for personal fame and with the intention of entering another marriage. These allegations have not been proven in court.
The legal proceedings remain ongoing, and the court has not reached any conclusion regarding the claims made by either side. Investigators are expected to continue examining the evidence presented by both parties.
The court’s order granting interim bail provides temporary legal protection from arrest until the next hearing. It does not represent a final decision on the merits of the case.
Authorities have directed Ali Hyderabadi to cooperate fully with investigators while legal proceedings continue. The matter will return to court on the scheduled date, where further arguments and evidence are expected to be presented before any additional orders are issued.
