Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has revealed that he hadn’t listened to music for years, despite it being a cornerstone of his life. In his vlog Welcome to My Borderless World, Atif shared how his relationship with music has evolved over time. Famous for hits like Aadat and Tera Hone Laga Hoon, the singer reflected on his early days, recalling how he discovered his passion for singing as a teenager in an empty house.

Atif described his initial fear of his own voice when he hit a high note for the first time, but he continued to practice in solitude. Over time, with the guidance of mentors, he honed his skills in singing and music production. Surprisingly, Atif revealed that he had stopped listening to music for years but recently began rediscovering joy in it.

This new chapter in Atif’s career is marked by his initiative Borderless World, which aims to unite artists from different creative fields, including musicians, lyricists, and directors. The launch event in Lahore brought together notable artists like Hamza Ali Abbasi, Saba Qamar, and Shae Gill. Atif described Borderless World as a platform for emerging talent and artistic collaboration, envisioning it as a realm without creative boundaries.
