In Faisalabad, a Christian girl named Samreen publicly embraced Islam during a lecture by renowned speaker Dr. Zakir Naik. The event attracted a large audience, and Samreen took the opportunity to express her desire to convert.
When she took the microphone, Dr. Naik asked her name, and she responded, “Samreen.” He then inquired whether she viewed Jesus Christ as a prophet or the son of God. Samreen affirmed that she regarded Jesus as a prophet. Dr. Naik further asked if she believed Muhammad was the final messenger of Allah, to which she also answered affirmatively.
Dr. Naik sought to ensure that Samreen was converting to Islam of her own free will, without any coercion. Samreen confirmed that she was embracing the faith willingly and with full awareness. She shared that her motivation for converting stemmed from the positive influence of the Muslims around her, which sparked her desire to join the Islamic faith.
After confirming her intentions, Dr. Zakir Naik led Samreen in reciting the Shahada, marking her official entry into Islam. The venue erupted in joyous shouts of “Allahu Akbar,” celebrating her new faith.
