Danish Taimoor has landed in hot water after his recent comments on polygamy during a Ramazan transmission. While discussing marriage, he casually stated, “The permission to men for four marriages has been granted, but I am not doing it yet, that’s a different story,” adding that he won’t remarry because he loves and respects his wife, Ayeza Khan.

His use of filhaal (as of right now) sparked criticism, with many calling his remarks entitled and insensitive, especially in front of Ayeza. Social media erupted, with users accusing him of promoting polygamy with an arrogant tone.
Even Frieha Altaf weighed in, calling his words “total disrespect” towards his wife. Meanwhile, a resurfaced clip of Hamza Ali Abbasi discussing polygamy in a more respectful manner only intensified the debate.
Danish has yet to respond to the backlash, but the controversy continues to dominate online discussions.
