Psychologist and media personality Dr Nabiha Ali Khan and her husband, Haris Khokhar, have confirmed that they have reconciled after weeks of public allegations, legal proceedings and widespread discussion on social media.
The confirmation came through a video shared online in which the couple appeared together while travelling in a car. Addressing speculation about their relationship, both said they had resolved their differences through mutual understanding.
Dr Nabiha explained that the divorce process had never been completed. She said only one talaq notice had been issued, adding that reconciliation remained possible under Islamic law after such a notice.
Haris Khokhar also confirmed that both had held detailed discussions before reaching an agreement. He said the couple would soon finalise a written understanding outlining mutually agreed terms and conditions before sharing any further updates.
The announcement follows weeks of public attention surrounding their marriage.
Earlier, Dr Nabiha had approached the Lahore Family Court seeking khula, while Haris Khokhar had publicly stated that he had issued a single talaq notice. Both later appeared in separate podcast interviews and on social media, where they shared differing accounts of their marriage.
The legal proceedings also took a new turn when Dr Nabiha informed the Lahore Family Court that both sides had reached an out-of-court settlement. Following her request, the court dismissed the khula petition.

With the reconciliation now publicly confirmed, the couple says they intend to move forward together. Haris Khokhar added that once the written agreement is completed, they will update the public regarding the future of their marriage.
