Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has responded to veteran Pakistani actor Javed Sheikh’s claims about his alleged rudeness on the sets of Jannat (2008), calling the situation a “comedy of errors.”
In a recent interview, Emraan expressed confusion over the accusations, stating that he did not recall their first meeting as vividly as Sheikh did. He emphasized that he had always maintained cordial relations with the Pakistani star throughout the film’s production.

Hashmi suggested that a miscommunication might have led to the misunderstanding and found it surprising that Sheikh had held onto this memory for over 16 years. He also laughed off the controversy, saying he didn’t understand how such a minor incident had turned into a major discussion.
Previously, Javed Sheikh claimed that Emraan was dismissive when they first met at Newlands Cricket Stadium in South Africa and that they did not interact during the shoot. However, Jannat turned out to be a commercial success, despite the actors’ reported tension.
