Elon Musk has unfollowed popular streamer Asmongold after a public spat over allegations of boosting in Path of Exile 2. The controversy began when Musk, known for his love of gaming, was accused of account sharing to improve his in-game performance, sparking criticism from Asmongold.
The streamer, who had been following Musk on X (formerly Twitter), called out the alleged boosting, claiming it was “so obvious” and that Musk “cannot get mad” at the backlash. Musk responded sharply, calling Asmongold “not his own man” and hinting at the streamer’s dependence on his “boss” for decisions.

Taking the feud further, Musk leaked private DMs between himself and Asmongold, revealing discussions about the latter’s YouTube editing process. Musk also hinted at releasing more messages, escalating tensions between the two.
The drama attracted a community note on Musk’s post, clarifying that Asmongold has always been transparent about his Twitch-to-YouTube editing workflow, handled by his team. Despite this, Musk suggested that the dispute is far from resolved, leaving fans divided.
