FIR Filed Against Ducky Bhai Over Viral Motorway Stunt Video

The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) have launched legal proceedings against popular YouTuber Saadur Rehman, better known as Ducky Bhai, for performing a dangerous stunt while driving on the motorway.

The action follows the circulation of a video where Ducky Bhai appears to put his car on autopilot mode, relax with his feet on the steering wheel, and seemingly sleep while driving on a busy highway.

The video quickly went viral, sparking widespread criticism. Many social media users deemed the stunt reckless and life-threatening, urging authorities to take strict legal action against the YouTuber.

In response to the public outcry, several citizens filed complaints with the NHMP. The Motorway Police confirmed that they had registered a case against Ducky Bhai for negligence, reckless driving, and speeding.

An official spokesperson for the NHMP stated that the video clearly demonstrated a violation of traffic rules, endangering not just the driver’s life but also the safety of others. They further confirmed that the video had been verified and geo-located, and legal sections relevant to the incident were being applied in the FIR.

The NHMP has also shared a public video message on social media to highlight the dangers of such stunts and caution others against copying similar behavior.

This incident is part of a wider concern regarding influencers creating hazardous content to gain views, with experts warning of the potential for young viewers to imitate such stunts without understanding the risks involved.

Legal professionals have noted that under Pakistan’s traffic and criminal laws, such actions can lead to fines, the suspension of driving licenses, or even imprisonment if the act endangers lives. Ducky Bhai has yet to publicly address the FIR or the resulting backlash.

The NHMP has urged the public to report similar violations and reiterated their commitment to maintaining safety on highways and motorways. “No one is above the law,” the spokesperson concluded, emphasizing that popularity does not grant individuals immunity from following traffic regulations.
