TAXILA: Pakistani TikToker Ayesha Shamsu Bibi, also known as Gilamana Ayesha, was killed in a targeted shooting in Taxila. Her 15-year-old sister was also injured in the incident.
Gilamana Ayesha was known for her bold content on TikTok. She had been active on the platform for nearly four years. She had reportedly built a following of more than 1.3 million users.
According to the reported details, Ayesha received a phone call from a man identified as Kashif Kashi. She later left her home in a car with her younger sister and brother.
The family was travelling when motorcycle-riding attackers allegedly opened fire. The shooting reportedly occurred near a private petrol station in Taxila.
Ayesha suffered a gunshot wound to the neck during the attack. She was critically injured after the firing. The driver then lost control of the vehicle.
The car collided with a dumper following the shooting. Ayesha’s younger sister, Asmiya, was injured in the crash. She was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.
The First Information Report (FIR) also mentions an alleged financial dispute. The dispute reportedly involved Ayesha and individuals identified as Kausar and Javed alias Shaheen.
Ayesha’s father told police that his daughter had previously informed the family about alleged threats. The family believes those threats may be linked to her killing.
The FIR alleges that the suspects may have arranged the attack. It also suggests unidentified accomplices could have been involved. These allegations have not yet been independently established.
Taxila police have registered a case following the incident. Investigators are examining several aspects of the case.
