Bollywood icon Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, have reportedly separated after 37 years of marriage, as per media reports.
Although neither has confirmed the rumors, sources claim the couple has been living apart for quite some time due to growing differences.

Marital Challenges and Lifestyle Clashes
Reports suggest that contrasting lifestyle choices have caused a rift between them. According to Bollywood Now, Govinda’s alleged involvement with a Marathi actress has played a key role in their separation.
In an interview with Hindi Rush, Sunita shared insights into their current living arrangement, mentioning that they reside in different homes. She explained that while Govinda stays at their bungalow, she and their children live in a separate apartment.
“We have two houses—our bungalow is right across from our apartment. I live with my children in the flat, and Govinda prefers the bungalow since he often returns late from meetings and gatherings. He enjoys socializing and spending time chatting with people for hours,” she explained.
Sunita’s Perspective on Their Relationship
Reflecting on their marriage, Sunita humorously commented on Govinda’s lack of romantic gestures.
“I’ve told him that in our next life, he shouldn’t be my husband. He never takes breaks. I love going out, enjoying street food, and simple pleasures, but he is always preoccupied with work. I can’t even recall a time we watched a movie together,” she admitted.
A Secret Marriage
Govinda and Sunita tied the knot in March 1987 but kept their marriage hidden for over a year. They only made it public after the birth of their daughter, Tina, in 1988. The couple later welcomed their son, Yashvardhan, in 1997.
While speculation about their separation continues, fans eagerly await an official statement from the couple to clarify their relationship status.
