Actor Hamza Abbasi has stated that having multiple marriages does not prevent men from committing extramarital affairs. He said the tendency to “hit on others” remains unchanged even after four marriages.
Speaking on a recent podcast, Hamza Abbasi discussed his personal life, faith, and views on relationships and morality in Islam. He emphasized that infidelity is not linked to polygamy.
“The habit of hitting on others does not go away with marriage. It is one of the five major sins,” Abbasi said. He warned that such behavior leads to “eternal hell” and should never be justified by multiple marriages.
Marriage in Islam is conditional, says Abbasi
Hamza Abbasi explained that Islam allows men to marry more than one wife only under strict conditions. He noted that divine permission comes with the responsibility of fairness.
“God said that if a man can do justice among wives, then he may marry more than one, but it is better to marry only one,” he added. Abbasi stressed that multiple marriages should never be used as a means to avoid infidelity.
Cheating is a matter of character, not marriage
According to Abbasi, the root issue lies in personal morality, not the number of wives. “If someone marries just to avoid cheating, what will he do when his wife grows old?” he asked.
He added that unfaithful men will remain unfaithful regardless of having one or four wives. The only solution, Abbasi said, is to reform one’s habits and maintain moral integrity.
The actor reiterated that Islam provides no allowance for cheating and called infidelity one of the gravest sins. He urged men to repent, change their behavior, and avoid justifying extramarital actions through marriage.
