The popular Pakistani drama star, famed for roles in shows like Pyare Afzal, Mann Mayal, and Alif, recently officiated a wedding ceremony, which quickly went viral.
The actor, also known for films like Jawani Phir Nahi Aani and The Legend of Maula Jatt, took on the role of a “Maulana” for the day in a video shared by Bunty Khalid Photography.

He conducted the full Nikah ceremony, reciting verses and announcing the dowry amount (Haq Meher) on behalf of the groom.
As expected, the internet had plenty to say about it. Social media responses ranged from lighthearted comments to praise, with one fan humorously asking Hamza to officiate their Nikah too.
Some fans saw it as a positive step in normalizing religious practices in daily life, while others questioned whether actors, despite their fame, should be performing such sacred duties, arguing that proper training is essential for such roles.
However, it’s important to note that Hamza wasn’t claiming to be a religious leader but was simply helping a friend on their special day, showing kindness without seeking attention.
