Hania Aamir Refutes Fabricated Statement About Pahalgam Attack

Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has publicly discredited a false statement circulating on social media, which wrongly suggested she made political comments about the April 22 Pahalgam attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

The fake quote falsely accused Pakistan’s military and included a fabricated plea to the Indian Prime Minister. In an Instagram story, Hania clarified, “I never made this statement and do not agree with the views being attributed to me.” She labeled the quote as “completely fabricated” and stressed that it misrepresents her values and identity.

Extending her sympathy to those affected by the tragedy, Aamir urged people to approach such pain with compassion instead of turning it into a political issue. She warned against spreading misinformation or generalizing an entire nation based on the actions of a few individuals.

The forged post wrongly depicted her as requesting the Indian leader to spare innocent Pakistanis and the entertainment industry—statements she has firmly denied.

She ended her message by urging her followers to fact-check before sharing any content, emphasizing the importance of promoting truth, peace, and unity in times of crisis.
