Indian rapper Hanumankind, real name Sooraj Cherukat, has made a powerful return with his latest single, Run It Up. The track, produced by Kalmi and directed by Bijoy Shetty, follows the success of his 2024 hit Big Dawgs, bringing a fresh mix of hip-hop and traditional Indian sounds.

Run It Up stands out with its fusion of rapid-fire rap and Kerala’s cultural rhythms, particularly the chenda, a traditional percussion instrument. Hanumankind’s lyrics highlight ambition, resilience, and pride in his heritage, delivering impactful lines like, “We dealing with things you ain’t seen before / We feeling the weight of our ancestors.” The song’s energy builds up with hard-hitting verses and a chorus that slows down momentarily before resuming its high-paced rhythm.
