Music platform Humnava has released its sixth song titled Lost in Love, a soulful qawwali exploring themes of love, devotion, longing, and emotional surrender. The new release blends traditional qawwali elements with modern musical arrangements, creating a deeply emotional listening experience.
The song has been set against the scenic backdrop of Hunza, adding visual warmth and cultural richness to the project. According to the creators, Lost in Love reflects different forms of love, including friendship, romance, spirituality, and inner emotional connection.
The latest release from Humnava features vocals by renowned qawwali duo Zain Ali and Zohaib Ali of Zain Zohaib. Other contributing artists include Shahid Hussain and Rehan Ali of Damsaaz. Supporting vocals were provided by Meherban Aleem, Faizan Ali, Basit Khan, and Nawaz Ali Khan Rozdar.
Several Humnava vocalists also participated in the project, including Ehsan Ali, Ruzzam Ali, Sameer Ali, Abdul Waheed, Muhabat Ali, Sharafat Ali, Raheel Anwar, and Mudassar Ali.
The qawwali arrangement includes a large group of musicians playing both traditional and modern instruments. Jbinternational performed on bass, while Jojo handled drums. Elijah Solo and Melvin Arthur contributed electric and acoustic guitars. Rubab performances were delivered by Ali Habib and Abdul Wajid, while Adnan Karim played dholak and percussion.
The lyrics for Lost in Love were written by Zain Zohaib, Imran Hunzai, and Xulfi. The composition was created by Zain Zohaib and Xulfi. The song was arranged by Xulfi and Sherry Khattak and produced and mixed by Xulfi.
Speaking about the release, Xulfi said the qawwali represents a shared emotional experience where many voices express the same feeling of love and heartbreak together. He explained that the song focuses on the idea that love changes people deeply, even when it brings pain.
The music video for Lost in Love has been directed by Aamir Mughal, with Ghous Hussain and Shahzaib Qureshi serving as associate directors. The visuals aim to match the emotional tone of the song while highlighting themes of memory, connection, and spiritual emotion.
