Indian Model San Rechal Gandhi Dies by Suicide at 26, Citing Financial Stress

San Rechal Gandhi, a young Indian model and social media influencer, tragically passed away by suicide on Sunday. She was just 26 years old.

According to local reports, San Rechal Gandhi was dealing with severe financial problems in recent months. Police confirmed that the pressure of monetary issues pushed her to take the extreme step.

On the day of the incident, she reportedly consumed a large number of tablets in an attempt to end her life. She was first taken to a government hospital and then a private one, but both refused to admit her. Eventually, she was taken to Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), where she passed away during treatment.

Police sources revealed that San Rechal had sold her jewellery a few days before the incident to raise funds for her career. When that wasn’t enough, she approached her father for financial help.
