The body of Sagar Gangwar, 14, son of Indian TV actress Sapna Singh, was discovered in a field in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Following the tragic incident, Sapna protested in Bareilly, garnering attention through viral social media videos. She called off her protest after police assured prompt action.

Two of Sagar’s friends, Anuj and Sunny, have been arrested. The post-mortem report hinted at possible poisoning or a drug overdose, though the exact cause remains unclear. During questioning, the accused admitted to consuming alcohol and drugs with Sagar. When Sagar lost consciousness, they abandoned him in the field out of fear.
Sagar, a grade eight student, lived with his uncle in Bareilly’s Anand Vihar Colony.
