During a recent episode of Piyara Ramadan on Express TV, Javeria Saud responded strongly to a caller who questioned former Pakistan cricket captain Sarfaraz Ahmed’s English-speaking skills.
The caller from Karachi asked why Ahmed appeared nervous while speaking English in interviews. Laughing off the remark, Ahmed explained, “Everyone gets nervous on camera. We are used to speaking in our native language, so English can be difficult.”

Javeria quickly defended him, saying, “We are Pakistanis, and our national language is Urdu. We should focus on speaking Urdu properly before worrying about English.” She added that many countries prioritize their own languages and stressed the importance of cultural pride.
She concluded by calling the criticism trivial, urging people to support national heroes instead of fixating on such issues.
