Karachi Kings have announced former England all-rounder Ravi Bopara as their new head coach for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The appointment follows Phil Simons’ resignation after one season due to new commitments with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
Bopara, previously the Kings’ assistant coach, has been promoted, while Muhammad Masroor will serve as his assistant. The decision is part of a broader restructuring following the team’s three consecutive early exits in past PSL seasons.

Earlier this week, David Warner was named captain of Karachi Kings. The former Australian opener, known for his explosive batting and leadership experience, was Karachi’s Platinum pick in the PSL-10 Players Draft held on January 13, 2025.
The PSL 10 kicks off on April 11, 2025, with Islamabad United facing Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
