Pakistani actress Komal Meer, known for her roles in Ehd-e-Wafa and Wehshi, has come under fire on social media after sharing photos from her holiday in Turkey. While visiting a mosque in Istanbul, she posted pictures wearing a headscarf along with a sleeveless co-ord set, which sparked a wave of online backlash.
Although she observed the tradition of covering her head at the religious site, many users were quick to point out what they saw as a contradiction between her modest gesture and modern clothing. Critics questioned the appropriateness of her outfit, with some drawing comparisons to fellow actress Hania Aamir.

Comments ranged from questioning her intention to accusing her of mimicking others for attention. One user wrote, โShe wore a scarf for Allah but modern dress for others,โ while another said, โSeems like Hania Aamirโs shop is about to close.โ
Komal has not responded to the controversy, choosing instead to stay silent amid the criticism. Despite the backlash, she continues to enjoy a growing fan following for her performances and screen presence.
