Pakistani actress Mahira Khan recently spoke out about a troubling incident that took place during a promotional appearance for her upcoming film Love Guru in London.
The situation unfolded when Mahira and co-star Humayun Saeed visited the Indo-Pak Supermarket in Ilford to interact with fans. Unfortunately, the event quickly turned chaotic due to poor crowd management and inadequate security arrangements.

A video that circulated widely on social media showed Mahira visibly distressed as she became overwhelmed by the crowd. Matters worsened when a security guard behaved inappropriately towards her, further fueling public outrage. The clip triggered strong criticism of the event organizers for failing to ensure safety.
Amid the commotion, Humayun Saeed immediately intervened, shielding Mahira and helping to control the crowd.
The two stars later reflected on the incident during an appearance on a private television program. Mahira described herself as a resilient woman who rarely asks for help, but said that her bond with Humayun is such that he instinctively sensed her discomfort and stepped in without hesitation.
Humayun, in turn, emphasized that he would always step up to protect any woman facing harassment, not just Mahira.
