Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s daughter, Mahnoor Safdar, is reportedly set to get married in Lahore today.
She is expected to marry Azan Jabbar, son of businessman and industrialist Jabbar Khalid.
According to media reports citing family sources, the nikah ceremony will take place at Jati Umra on Saturday, September 12.
The ceremony is reportedly scheduled for 5 pm at the Sharif family residence in Lahore.
Mahnoor Safdar’s Nikah to Be a Private Ceremony
The family has reportedly decided to keep the nikah ceremony private.
Only members of the Sharif family, close relatives and family friends are expected to attend.
Family sources cited in reports said around 100 guests are expected at the ceremony.

Azan Jabbar has been identified in media reports as the prospective husband of Mahnoor Safdar.

The reported nikah comes shortly after Mahnoor Safdar completed her higher education at SOAS University of London.
Maryam Nawaz recently travelled to London to attend her daughter’s graduation ceremony.
She later returned to Pakistan with her daughter.
Mahnoor is the youngest daughter of Maryam Nawaz and Captain (Retd) Muhammad Safdar. Unlike several members of the Sharif family, she has generally maintained a low public profile.
