Popular drama Mann Mast Malang is under fire after a recent romantic scene drew intense criticism from viewers who deemed it inappropriate for Pakistani television.
The controversial moment featured Kabir Khan (Danish Taimoor) forcefully dancing with Riya (Sahar Hashmi), a scene many found overly romantic and uncomfortable. Social media users slammed the show for crossing boundaries, calling the scene “unacceptable” and “misleading for younger audiences.”

Critics accused the drama of normalizing harassment and losing touch with the subtle storytelling Pakistani dramas were once praised for. Comments poured in, with one viewer saying, “Our dramas are losing their essence just to chase trends from across the border.”
