Renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil has issued a public clarification addressing recent rumors about a ban on his speeches.
In a statement shared via his official Instagram account, Maulana Jamil denied claims that any political party or state institution had prohibited his speeches. He clarified that there is no involvement from external forces and described the issue as an internal matter within the Tablighi Jamaat.

He urged vloggers and YouTubers to stop spreading baseless and unverified information, emphasizing the need for responsible reporting.
His response comes in light of recent media reports suggesting that the Tablighi Jamaat had barred him from delivering speeches at future congregations (ijtimas). According to these reports, Maulana Tariq Jamil has allegedly been distanced from the Jamaat due to his perceived political affiliations and public support for a certain political party—stances considered contrary to the group’s longstanding commitment to political neutrality.
The Tablighi Jamaat follows a strict policy of staying detached from political involvement, requiring its members to remain apolitical in both speech and action.
