Mawra Hocane, the talented actress who made her Bollywood debut in Sanam Teri Kasam, has expressed her desire to work alongside two of Bollywood’s biggest stars, Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, in future projects. The actress revealed her admiration for Salman Khan in a recent interview, stating, “I’ve been a big fan of him and have watched all his films while growing up.” She added that she hopes Salman doesn’t retire soon and dreams of being a part of one of his films.
In addition to Salman Khan, Mawra also expressed her wish to work with Ranbir Kapoor, citing his film Rockstar as a major influence. “I would love to do a film like Rockstar with him, it is another movie which I’ve watched many times,” she shared. Mawra’s admiration for Ranbir’s work reflects her keen interest in roles that challenge her as an actor.
These comments come after the recent success of the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam, which outperformed new releases at the box office. Mawra shared her excitement on social media, thanking fans for their support, as the film’s growing cult following has brought renewed attention to her performance.
Despite having to step back from Bollywood due to political tensions, Mawra remains hopeful about future opportunities. She shared that she has evolved in selecting roles, with a strong focus on quality scripts, regardless of whether they come from India or Pakistan. “If the circumstances allow, I would definitely want to come back to Mumbai and shoot again,” Mawra said, expressing her optimism for future collaborations.
