Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal has responded to claims made by her former fiancé Saqib Chadhar. She said her legal case is not about money, cars or gifts.
Momina and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz MPA Saqib Chadhar have remained involved in a public dispute. Both sides have presented their own accounts of the matter.
Momina previously approached the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). She alleged that she faced online harassment, cyberbullying and threats.
A case was later registered against Chadhar under relevant laws. The case includes provisions of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act and Pakistan Penal Code.
The investigation has also seen several developments. An NCCIA official told a Lahore court in July that the agency had found Chadhar responsible for the allegations.
The agency later issued fresh notices to both parties on September 3. The notices followed the discovery of new digital evidence.
A special investigation team was also formed to examine the matter further. The legal proceedings remain ongoing.
Momina Fires Back at Money and Gift Claims
Chadhar recently discussed his relationship with Momina during an interview with Hina Niazi. He made several claims about money and gifts.
He claimed that he had given Momina Rs8 million in cash. He also alleged that he gifted her a Toyota Fortuner and Honda Civic.
Chadhar further claimed that he helped finance his former fiancé’s sister’s education in Australia. These claims have now drawn a response from Momina.
The actress said the dispute should not be reduced to financial matters. She explained that her complaint concerns the alleged harassment she experienced.
Momina fires back by stressing that gifts exchanged during a relationship are separate from her complaint. She said the case was filed because of the treatment she allegedly faced.
Her comments indicate that she does not want the matter framed around expensive presents. She maintained that financial exchanges were not the reason for approaching authorities.
Actress Discusses Impact on Social Media
Momina also discussed how the alleged harassment affected her online presence. She said she stopped creating TikTok videos because of inappropriate comments.
The actress also said she deleted Snapchat. She alleged that Chadhar’s wife would post offensive remarks there.
Momina further said she was unaware of Chadhar’s current personal circumstances. She claimed she did not know whether he and his wife remained together.
She said she learned about some personal details only later. She also recalled hearing about an issue involving Chadhar’s kidney during the election period.
According to Momina, she became aware of other information after her own case started. She continues to focus on the allegations raised in her complaint.
Legal Dispute Remains Under Investigation
The dispute between Momina and Chadhar continues through both public statements and legal proceedings. The allegations made by either side have not been independently established here.
Chadhar and his wife previously obtained interim pre-arrest bail. This followed the NCCIA’s registration of a case after Momina’s complaint.
The agency is continuing its investigation into the matter. New digital evidence has also prompted further investigative steps.
Momina fires back at the financial claims while maintaining that harassment remains the central issue. Chadhar has presented a different account of their relationship and related events.
The ongoing case is expected to determine the legal position of the allegations. Further developments may provide more clarity as the investigation progresses.
