Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal has shared an emotional message after her younger sister, Rimsha Iqbal, spoke publicly about the painful experiences their family faced following the death of their father. The actress opened up on social media, expressing sorrow over the challenges her loved ones have endured during the past two years.
In an Instagram post, Momina Iqbal shared a screenshot from her sister’s recent podcast interview along with a heartfelt note. She said that living as a public figure has never been easy and that she often remained silent despite facing many difficult situations.
The actress explained that she stayed quiet because she feared personal matters would become public headlines. She said many painful moments were ignored because she did not want them to turn into media stories or public discussions.
Momina said the period after her father’s passing has been one of the hardest chapters of her life. She recalled being by his side during his final moments and described the experience as deeply heartbreaking. According to her statement, only her family and Allah truly know the pain they have experienced.
She added that after witnessing such a tragic loss, fear of humiliation or public criticism no longer affected her. Momina Iqbal also expressed her strong faith that true justice comes from Allah and believed that the truth would eventually become clear.
The actress apologized to her younger sister and other family members for the pain they had suffered because of her profession. She wrote that she was sorry they had to go through difficult times simply because she chose a career in the entertainment industry.
In another Instagram story, Momina hinted that she could one day reveal the full details of what happened. She suggested that if necessary, she would present evidence publicly and identify everyone involved. However, she did not provide any names or additional details in her statement.
Her response came shortly after a podcast featuring her sister, Rimsha Iqbal, gained widespread attention online. During the interview, Rimsha spoke about the family’s difficult experience after their father died suddenly from cardiac arrest on the second day of Eid.
Rimsha shared that she was in Australia when the incident happened. She travelled back to Pakistan without initially being told that her father had passed away. She also claimed that Momina accompanied their father to the hospital, where some individuals recognized the actress and allegedly focused on recording videos instead of respecting the family’s grief.
According to Rimsha, the situation continued even after their father’s body was brought home. She alleged that people kept filming emotional moments inside the house, making an already painful experience even more distressing for the family.
