Pakistani actress and television host Nadia Khan has taken a swipe at Indian media, criticising its handling of the recent Pakistan-India tensions as overly theatrical and seemingly staged. Speaking on a talk show, Khan mocked the dramatic tone and elaborate visuals displayed by Indian news channels during the ongoing conflict.
She remarked that the polished and coordinated nature of their broadcasts gave the impression that preparations had been underway for months. “The way Indian media has been reporting — it makes you laugh out loud. It feels like they’re not delivering news but putting on a cartoon show,” she quipped.

Khan further commented on how Indian media has elevated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s image, likening his portrayal to that of a glamorous film star. “They’ve presented him like Aishwarya Rai. It seemed like months of facials had been done. The prep was clearly already in place,” she said, drawing laughter from the audience.
Her remarks echo the growing criticism from various quarters accusing Indian media of sensationalism and exaggeration in its coverage of recent military developments.
