Naimal Khawar Returns to TV After 5 Years, Joins Hamza Ali Abbasi

After years away from the spotlight, Naimal Khawar is reportedly making a much-anticipated return to television. The actor-turned-painter left the entertainment industry in 2019 but now seems ready to step back into acting.

Naimal gained popularity through her role in the drama Anaa and her film debut in Verna. She quit acting before marrying fellow actor Hamza Ali Abbasi, saying it was a personal decision. “I quit acting nine months before my wedding. It was entirely my own decision,” she stated in a post after her marriage.

Since then, Naimal Khawar has focused on her family, especially after the birth of her son Mustafa in 2020. She occasionally appeared in fashion campaigns and continued to pursue her passion for painting. However, recent reports suggest that she is working on a new drama titled Ishq Mein Khuda Mil Gaya.

What makes her comeback even more exciting is that her husband, Hamza Ali Abbasi, will reportedly star alongside her. Hamza is well-known for hit roles in Pyare Afzal and Alif.

The drama is written by Mohsin Nadeem and directed by Shahzad Kashmiri, known for his work on Parizaad and Sinf-e-Aahan. The cast also includes social media personality Rabia Faisal of the ‘Sisterology’ brand.

Although Naimal Khawar has not confirmed the news officially, social media is buzzing with excitement. Many fans are thrilled about seeing the real-life couple on screen together for the first time. One user commented, “Hamza and Naimal together — like a dream come true.”

However, the casting has faced some criticism. Some users questioned the decision to replace actress Hiba Bukhari, who was initially linked to the role.

As of now, Naimal remains silent on the matter, but her possible return marks a major change from her earlier decision to stay away from acting. Fans eagerly await confirmation and the official release of the upcoming drama.
