Veteran Pakistani actor Nauman Ijaz has spoken about his cancer journey and an unexpected medical development. Doctors reportedly cancelled his planned chemotherapy after finding no signs requiring treatment.
The Parizaad star discussed his experience during a recent podcast appearance. He revealed that doctors diagnosed him with lymphoma in June 2024.
He also had a tumor near his ear. The diagnosis left Ijaz deeply concerned about his family and the challenges ahead.

They reportedly told Ijaz that they could not find anything requiring chemotherapy. As a result, the treatment was not started.

Ijaz said his faith became a major source of comfort during the uncertain period. He began offering prayers and reciting Surah Rahman before sleeping.

His friend Gohar Butt also encouraged him to recite Surah Rahman every day. Ijaz followed the advice and incorporated the recitation into his daily routine.
