Out of the top 20 earners, only three were women, and none of them were in their younger years. However, one standout from the list is 57-year-old Nicole Kidman, who has proven that age is no barrier to success in Hollywood.
Kidman emerged as the highest-paid actress of 2024, earning an impressive $41 million, with a net profit of $31 million. Not only did she surpass all other actresses globally, but she also secured the eighth spot overall, ranking above male powerhouses like Will Smith and Adam Sandler. She trailed just behind Hollywood icons George Clooney and Brad Pitt, further solidifying her status among the industry’s elite.

Dubbed the “Queen of AMC Theatres” by Forbes, Kidman’s success this year came largely from her commanding presence in TV mini-series. She led three major productions—The Perfect Couple, Lions, and Expats—earning $1 million per episode. In addition, she starred in two romantic films, Baby Girl and A Family Affair, both of which achieved box-office success.
Kidman’s continued relevance, including her ability to seamlessly pair with younger co-stars, highlights her versatility and her refusal to be limited by Hollywood’s typical age boundaries.
