Nora Fatehi Speaks Out On Controversial Song Backlash

Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi has responded to criticism over her controversial song “Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke,” part of the upcoming film D: The Devil starring Sanjay Dutt.

The track faced widespread backlash on social media for its lyrics and explicit visuals, which many viewers considered inappropriate. In a video statement, Nora clarified that the Hindi version of the song was created without her consent.

She revealed that an AI-generated image featuring herself and Sanjay Dutt was also used for the promotional poster without her permission. The actress explained that she had originally recorded the song three years ago in Kannada and did not find anything offensive at the time.

Nora added that she was not informed about the modifications made for the Hindi version. She saw the updated video only at the launch and immediately warned the director that it could attract public criticism. However, her concerns were ignored.

As a result, Nora decided to distance herself from the project and chose not to promote it. She emphasized that she does not support the controversial song and thanked fans for their feedback, which led to the video being removed from online platforms.

The actress also urged her followers not to share the clip further, asking them to avoid giving it unnecessary attention. She highlighted that she values her fans’ support and wants to prevent any further controversy.

Industry insiders noted that the controversy surrounding the controversial song reflects growing concerns over consent and artist rights in Bollywood. Several artists are now raising awareness about how modifications or promotional materials can be misused without permission.

Nora Fatehi’s statement has been widely shared across social media, with fans praising her for speaking out and clarifying her stance. The film’s makers have not yet issued an official response to her remarks.

This episode has sparked discussions about ethical practices in film production, especially regarding the use of AI-generated images and modifications of original content without consent.
