To achieve the Guinness World Record, Bilal had to identify Taylor Swift’s songs from their opening lyrics, read aloud by a man without any accompanying music. Despite the complexity of the task, Bilal, a college student pursuing a degree in computer science, considered it an “easy task” due to his extensive preparation. He highlighted his admiration for Swift’s songwriting, emotional depth in lyrics, and ability to connect with listeners on a personal level.
Before the Taylor Swift milestone, Bilal had broken records for identifying the most animals from their sounds in one minute in 2021 and identifying the most Justin Bieber songs from their lyrics in one minute last year. Bilal expressed the incredible feeling of being called a “Certified Swiftie” or “Officially Amazing Swiftie” and considered this accomplishment his chart-topper.
