Paresh Rawal Confirms Comeback, Hera Pheri 3 Back on Track

Paresh Rawal

Paresh Rawal has officially confirmed his return to Hera Pheri 3, ending months of speculation and fan anxiety. The beloved actor will once again step into the shoes of the iconic ‘Babu Bhaiya,’ reuniting with Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty for the third instalment of the legendary comedy franchise.

The film’s production faced numerous delays, director changes, and even legal drama. Last year, reports suggested Rawal had quit the project after accepting Rs11 lakh as a signing amount. This led to a Rs25 crore legal notice from Cape of Good Films, co-owned by Akshay Kumar.

However, Rawal’s legal team clarified that no binding agreement existed, and the advance was returned with interest. Dismissing the entire controversy during a recent podcast, Rawal said, “There’s no controversy… the audience expects the best, and that’s our responsibility.”

Originally to be directed by Farhad Samji, the project is now in the hands of Rajesh Krishnan. With filming having begun in April and the original trio confirmed, fans are excited to see if the franchise can recreate the magic nearly 20 years after Phir Hera Pheri.
