Steven Knight, the creator of Peaky Blinders, has confirmed that the Peaky Blinders universe will continue to expand beyond the upcoming spinoff film. In an interview with the U.K.’s Times Radio, Knight revealed that production on the film wrapped before the holidays, with a release expected in about a year. However, he assured fans that this would not mark the end of the Shelby family saga.
“It won’t be the end, let me put it that way,” Knight teased, suggesting that more projects could follow, though he did not specify whether they would be in the form of a series or another film.

The movie, currently filming in the U.K., stars Murphy alongside Rebecca Ferguson, Barry Keoghan, Tim Roth, and Stephen Graham. The Peaky Blinders franchise has become a global cultural phenomenon, and Knight’s remarks only heighten excitement for what’s next.
