Four individuals, including a woman named Amina, have been arrested for the abduction and assault of renowned dramatist Khalilur Rehman Qamar. The police’s Organized Crime Unit apprehended the suspects, whose identification was aided by CCTV footage, and recovered the car used in the crime. The incident occurred in Lahore’s Bahria Town.
According to an FIR filed at Sunder Police Station, a group of seven men forcibly entered a house where Khalilur Rehman Qamar had been invited by Amina to discuss a potential drama project.

The writer, known for “Mere Paas Tum Ho,” reported that the armed men took him to an undisclosed location, tortured him, demanded a Rs10 million ransom, and threatened his life.
Khalilur Rehman Qamar also reported being robbed of his belongings, including his cell phone, wristwatch, and over Rs250,000 in cash from his ATM card.
He accused the kidnappers of transferring his mobile data to their devices and forcing him to reveal his password at gunpoint.
