The sweet interaction, which took place during the game between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Mullanpur, sparked curiosity after images of Kohli showing something on his phone to Zinta went viral.

Responding to a fan on X, Zinta wrote, “We were showing each other pictures of our children & talking about them!” She reminisced about meeting Kohli 18 years ago when he was a “spirited teenager” and praised him as a “sweet & doting father.”
