Bollywood dancer and actress Rakhi Sawant has humorously turned down a marriage proposal from Pakistani religious scholar Mufti Abdul Qavi, stating that he wouldn’t be able to handle her. The proposal, which Mufti Qavi made during a podcast, has garnered attention, but Rakhi dismissed it with her signature playful wit.
Responding to the proposal in a light-hearted interview with a private channel, Rakhi said, “I am not serious about marrying Mufti Qavi. I don’t know if he has 100 wives or 900, but I alone am equal to 100,000 women, and he wouldn’t be able to handle me.”

The actress added that she is still on the lookout for true love, which she hasn’t found in India so far. She remarked that although many men show interest in her, they only see her as a stepping stone.
In a cheeky response to being asked if she would visit Pakistan, Rakhi commented, “If Modi can visit Pakistan, why can’t I? When a couple agrees, what can the Qazi do?”
Rakhi also took the opportunity to praise Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, referring to her as a ‘good and decent girl.’
Earlier, Mufti Qavi had announced on a TV show that his nikkah (Islamic wedding) with Rakhi Sawant was scheduled for February 14, with the date supposedly being suggested by Rakhi herself. He even stated that Rakhi would adopt Islamic attire following their marriage, and that he might consider changing his own style to match.
