Renowned Pakistani actor Sarah Khan recently shared her aspirations for a cross-border cinematic venture in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama. The Sabaat actor revealed her admiration for Indian cinema and her dream collaboration with Bollywood icon Salman Khan.
Sarah, who initially hadn’t planned to enter the entertainment industry, confessed, “I had never thought about it because I didn’t want to act. But one thing I had definitely considered was that when I thought about acting, I also thought that someday I would do a film with Salman Khan at least once.”

The celeb is currently captivating audiences in the Zindagi 13-episode miniseries Abdullahpur Ka Devdas alongside Bilal Abbas Khan and Raza Talish. The series, which delves into the timeless themes of love and friendship, has garnered praise for its compelling storyline and the chemistry between the lead stars, Sarah and Bilal.
Despite her busy schedule, Sarah shared insights into her viewing preferences, citing family time as a priority, especially with her young daughter. She disclosed that while she may not have the luxury to watch content alone, her husband, Falak Shabbir, is an avid consumer of Indian shows and content on platforms like Netflix, which they enjoy together as a family.
Aside from Salman, Sarah expressed her admiration for Bollywood stalwarts Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan, stating that, like many, she has been a fan since childhood.
The actor who essays the role of Gulbano, reflected on her character in Abdullahpur, sharing, “The first time I went for a meeting with the director, my first question was, ‘Who is Devdas?’ After that, I thought it was better to create Gulbano, a character who is very strong and powerful. If she loves someone, she is ready to go to any extent for her love.”
In October last year, the 31-year-old raised concern among fans when her husband Falak shared an Instagram story with a worrisome picture of her, prepped and about to undergo a magnetic resonance imaging procedure. “Need prayers,” wrote the singer in the overlay text. Fans flocked to express their concern about the actor’s health, offering heartfelt comments and wishes for a swift recovery.
The couple did not disclose any details on Sarah’s medical condition, characteristic of their social media presence that frequently includes snippets of intimate life without compromising their privacy. However, the Hum Tum actor took to Instagram to share a story, updating fans that she was back at home and appreciated everyone for their show of love and concern.
